NEW ORLEANS - Alien Chadow Films in association with Indie Rights Movies and Industry Pictures/ThinkFilmWest presents the world theatrical premiere of “A Night Without Armor” at the Arena Cinema in Hollywood, Calif., on Friday, April 21. The drama stars New York-based actors, Pepper Binkley and Jacob Fishel, and is directed by Steven Alexander.

“A Night Without Armor” is a romantic drama that follows a married man (John Fishel) at a crossroads in his life who is unexpectedly accompanied by an eccentric single nurse (Pepper Binkley) while watching a meteor shower during the course of one night. The film is set and filmed in its entirety at the historic Fort Jackson in Plaquemines Parish located in Buras, La.

The independent film is written and produced by New Orleans native, Chaun J. Domingue. Currently serving as the Public Information Officer at the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office, he was inspired to write screenplays after the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina. After writing the screenplay for “A Night Without Armor,” he founded Alien Chadow Films, LLC, and quickly started production on the film. To-date, the writer/producer has written nine screenplays with another four currently in the outline phase.

Alexander is an American filmmaker born in London, England, who immigrated to New York City in the 1980s and currently resides in Los Angeles. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and attended City College of New York Film School before eventually getting his Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. The filmmaker has written, directed and produced the feature film “Behavior,” as well as, directing numerous music videos and commercials.

Binkley is an American actress, who studied at Princeton University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She has been in numerous films including “Stone,” “The Kitchen,” “Asylum Seekers,” and “Morning Glory”. The actress has also appeared in television programs, such as “All My Children,” “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” “The Good Wife,” “Masters of Sex” and “The Following”.

Fishel is an American film and stage actor, who studied at Juilliard School of Dance, Drama and Music in New York City.  The actor has starred in films like “How I Got Lost” and “Across the Sea” and has appeared in “Without a Trace,” “Numb3ers,” “Medium” and “Cold Case”.

“A Night Without Armor” features ten songs from the independent, internationally touring pop/rock band, Adam’s Attic.  The four-piece band was formed in Plaquemines Parish and relocated to the Los Angeles following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.  “A Night Without Armor” was aptly named after a song in the Adam’s Attic catalogue because it accurately reflects the heart of this dramatic story. Adam’s Attic consists of Joe Henry, Derek Henry, Scott Boaz and Frank DeSalvo.

Along with the world theatrical release on April 21, “A Night Without Armor” will be released digitally on iTunes, Amazon, Hulu, FandangoNow, GooglePlay, Vudu, YouTube, Xbox and Playstation.  The film will also have a limited screening at the Arena Cinema and will be available on DVD and BluRay at participating retailers.  “A Night Without Armor” can be followed on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for future announcements and additional screenings.
